Collection: Gothfarm Yarn Collab
I have teamed up with Monica of Gothfarm Yarn to dye up her gorgeous 100% Navajo-Churro wool base! Gothfarm Yarn specializes in undyed yarn from a range of sheep breeds. They buy raw fiber from small producers in Texas and across the country, and then work with small mills to create unique yarn and roving from a range of fiber blends. The Navajo-Churro wool used in this collab was grown and milled all right here in Texas.
There are 4 colors up for pre-order: Merlot, Sienna Spice, Golden Hour, and Dusk. Due to the nature of the wool lots, the capacity for this pre-order is limited. It will be open from Friday, December 5th at 12pm CT through Sunday, December 14th, or until capacity is reached. Orders will be dyed and shipped within 1-2 weeks after the pre-order closes.
This palette of naturally dyed colors were curated to pair with the Gothfarm Yarn undyed, natural colors that their Navajo-Churro wool comes in. Check out the beautiful natural colors in Monica's shop here.
Looking for some pattern inspiration? We've put together a Ravelry bundle that this yarn would be great for here. The wool is a rustic single-ply that’s great for weaving and outerwear, especially Nordic-inspired knits. This base is listed as a sport weight, but at 160 yards / 70 grams, this yarn is very versatile and can be used for Sport, DK, or even Worsted weight patterns.
