Fiber Bases

All of the fiber bases I dye are grown and processed all in the United States, where it is in no way chemically processed. This means that the fiber is "non-superwash" and will require special care to maximize its longevity. Care instructions are indicated in each product listing. 

In general, you should gently hand wash the yarn you spin with the fiber in cool water with wool wash (preferable) or a delicate, pH neutral detergent. I carry Eucalan Delicate Wash in the shop if you need to stock up on wool wash! Avoid excessive agitation in the water and lay flat to dry. Keep the yarn out of direct sunlight as much as possible.
