Yarn Bases

All of the yarn bases I dye are ethically sourced from South American or Australian farms that practice mulesing-free methods. The yarn is manufactured in mills either in South America, the United Kingdom or the United States, where it is in no way chemically processed. This means that the yarn is "non-superwash" and will require special care to maximize its longevity. Care instructions are indicated in each product listing. 

In general, you should gently hand wash the yarn in cool water with wool wash (preferable) or a delicate, pH neutral detergent. I carry Eucalan Delicate Wash in the shop if you need to stock up on wool wash! Avoid excessive agitation in the water and lay flat to dry. Keep the yarn out of direct sunlight as much as possible.
